  • Pentagon is a leading UK based chemical manufacturer of organic intermediates for use in the life science, petrochemical, and speciality chemicals markets. Offering exclusive synthesis and a wide range of own products the privately owned company has sales of over GBP 40M per annum and employs around 170 people at our ISO 9001 and 14001 accredited sites in Halebank and Workington.In recognition of the successful implementation of our sustainable development plan and commitment to a culture of continuous improvement backed by a programme of active employee engagement our Halebank site was the winner of the Chemical Industry Association’s (CIAs) 2008 Manufacturing Award.
